Fall Projects

C. W. age 8
K. C. age 8

What fun I've had this fall with 2 of my talented young students.  C. W. and K. C. are best friends who just love to sew.
   C. started working on the PJ project.  She did a great job reading the instructions and following the directions - with very little help from me.  With only minimal seam ripping (every good seamstress corrects her mistakes) she turned out a great pair of  PJs.  She had a lot of fun going through all the the decorative stitches on the machine and finally came up the very best one to use on the hem.
   K. got to work right away making the lined apron project.  There's a whole lot of cutting in this project, and did she ever become good with the scissors!  K. took her time putting her apron together and you sure can tell when you look closely at it - her stitching is as beautiful as the apron!
