I have to admit that I was a little hesitant when these three 1st graders showed up for their first sewing class. They were so small that their feet could barely reach the sewing machine pedal! But we adjusted by slowing the pace of the class down, as well as, slowing the speed of the sewing machine down. As the girls progressed from the 1st class to the 5th class their stitching lines became straighter and their seam allowances became more consistent. Now that I think about it, I believe that this group spent the least amount of time with the dreaded seam ripper. Way to go girls, I'm so proud of all of the hard work you put into your beautiful aprons!
