The 3rd project that the girls make is pajama pants, and what a great time of year it is to learn how to make cozy pj pants! A few of my girls skipped this project but are coming back to it now that they've seen the other students' garments in progress.
With this project the girls will learn how to take their measurements and then adjust the pattern to fit their body. They will get more practice sewing straight lines (believe it or not, this is hard to do) and how to make curved seams. They will also be taught how to use the special foot to make button holes. Lastly, they will get to customize their pants wi
th some fun decorative stitches around the hem.
