I can't believe that this hanging organizer finally got finished. In J.'s (12) defense, she did have an awful lot of other extracurricular activities going on - but 5 months?!
I think we learned a lot with this project:
1. If the pattern calls for 5/8 yd. of fabric, you can not purchase 5/8 yds. worth of fat quarters.
2. If you don't understand the instructions, read them again. If you still don't understand them after reading 5 more times then chances are the instruction writer is skimping on ink. Think it through and come up with your own instructions.
3. If life gets busy, take a break, and then come back to your project when you have time.
I think J. did a great job, I hope it looks beautiful in her new room!
